Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
I always like to put out a few snowmen in January and a couple wintery blue quilts. Not too much…and i quickly transition into Valentine’s.
I’ve been told I’m a seasonal designer…meaning, i don’t design Christmas patterns in March. I design them in December! ha… My Christmas Cheer quilt is a good example of just this! It is such a simple, folkarty style quilt. Shown below.
Today through the end of January 2026, if you purchase the Christmas Cheer digital pdf pattern, it includes my hanging heart block. Read my previous post.
Christmas Cheer
Single Hanging Heart Block
Or…if you prefer, I will be offering my heart block in a new Valentine Pattern called Circle of Love coming to my shop in the next couple of days. It will include instructions for a single Circle of Love wall hanging / pillow along with vertical or horizontal setting of 3 Circle of Love blocks for a nice size wall hanging or runner.
Circle of Love Single wall hanging or make it into a sweet pillow!
Circle of Love vertical wall hanging
Circle of Love horizontal runner.
All above images are created using Renee Nanneman’s current fabric line called Always and Forever by Andover Fabrics
My sample was made with a variety of fabrics. The wreath and bows are Renee’s current fabric line, the background is lovely and pulled from my scrap drawer. No selvage edge and unfortunately I don’t know who the designer. Pink heart and binding are by Sweetwater called Threads for Moda. They all came together so sweetly!
Below is ‘My Sweetheart Tree’. Measures 29” square and i just love it!
It looks like a tree…or a mound of cookie hearts sitting on a cake platter!
Head to my SHOP and check out all my Valentine inspired quilt patterns. Available in pdf downloads and mailed copies.
Thanks for stopping by! Please share my website with your quilty friends! I truly appreciate you all. ~karen
